I admit that I was reading, only lookin up when there was a featured speaker or some commotion. It didn't seem very inspiring. Edwards is a good speaker unless you listened to the actual words. This is a political lightweight of extraordinary shallowness. How can there be two Americas when he is the embodiment of the transition from poor to wealthy? A walking, bullshitting contradiction! And to hear the man who has made a fortune raping doctors and insurance companies talk about affordable health care - jarring! What the hell was Al Sharpton doing giving a speech? What will be said if tapes of Adolph Hitler are played at the GOP convention? "Oh, but he has mellowed his ways!" And rheumy-eyed Jimmeh Carter? An embittered old man who mid-wifed Islamo-fascism and emboldened Soviet expansion, trying to place blame everywhere else; embarrassing. Kerry, he said nothing new - Oh, was he in Vietnam! I didn't know that! Don't the Demoncrat voters hate and revile those particular soldiers? Didn't they call them baby killers when they came home? Didn't Kerry himself call them baby killers? Didn't Kerry say military service, let alone outright draft-dodging, should not be an issue when the traitor Clinton was running against a WWII fighter pilot in '92 and then again against a disabled hero vet in '96? Now, this is his entire platform. And, what about his pathetic plea for civility from his opponent! It's like a vampire saying, "Bare your neck my dear and drop that cross, it's only fair." Ha ha! The whole shebang was probably the worst convention I have ever seen. It was all about hiding who they really are and what they intend to wreak upon this country presented in the company of a bunch of weirdo, old hippie, victocrat losers attempting to boogie to old rock and roll between lame speeches. The only honesty I saw all week was when Edwards said they would roll back the tax cuts. I hope the Bushies play that one over and over. If they get even a one point bounce from this abortion, I will be amazed!
