Only in China (I thought)

When given unlimited power, governments will commit unlimited cruelty upon their subjects. 3 people got rabies from infected dogs in China and the government went on a killing rampage, clubbing dogs to death as they were being walked by their owners. 50,000 innocent dogs were slaughtered. I thought something like this could only happen in an Islamic society. I mean, we know that the Reds kill humans with mad glee, but where is the advantage to killing dogs? Maybe the dogs were consuming too much of the dog food that the government allotted to its people. Anyway, this kind of thing pops up with regularity in primitive societies and is expected in Communist and Islamic nations.
Then, today, I read about the game wardens in Virginia perpetrating the exact same scenario! They swept down on an innocent man and in a blood-soaked frenzy of slaughter, while the American homeowners were held under armed guard, killed and killed and killed. They slaughtered every hog on their hunting preserve as well as the family pets. "All day, all night, gunshots rang out." The explanation - some disease called pseudorabies, an infection that is not communicable to humans.
I suppose that as we devolve ever deeper into third-world Socialism, the insanity will only increase.
Keep a keen eye open as you walk Fido this evening.
