Moderate Dems Should Leave

April 04, 2005

This story in The Washington Times deals with a “war” within the Democrat Party.  It seems there are still some normal Americans in the party who want to return it to its pre-radical-Leftist roots.

They are fighting a losing battle.  By pandering to, and coming to depend on a ragtag assortment of looney fringe groups, often at odds with one another, the party has placed itself outside the mainstream of humanity, let alone the America electorate.

America is shedding this party like a surgically removed wart.  It is on a death slide off the Left side of the political map.

These centrist Democrats should become Republicans.  Then, they could join all those RINO Republicans and eventually split off and we would have two reasonable parties again.
